The Facts on Rep. Chris Carney
On Friday, September 3rd, Americans United for Life Action launched the first round of its “Life Counts” radio campaign in Pennsylvania’s 10th District. The ad campaign holds Congressman Chris Carney accountable for his record in support of taxpayer-funded abortion. During the current session of Congress, Carney voted five times to promote or pay for abortions using taxpayer dollars.

Dr. Yoest’s comments today follow a September 4th story from the Sunbury, PA, Daily Item, in which the Carney campaign attacked AUL Action, claiming that our representation of Carney’s record was false.
The facts speak for themselves.
Representative Chris Carney’s record is clear, he is not pro-life.
Carney had a 100 percent rating with NARAL Pro Choice America in 2007 and Planned Parenthood in 2008. Additionally, the Congressman voted in support of this year’s Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) which establishes taxpayer-funded abortion despite overwhelming opposition from voters.
