WASHINGTON, D.C. – (09-03-10) – AUL Action will reach out to voters in a series of radio campaigns holding politicians responsible for their votes for President Obama’s health care law, reminding voters in key battle ground states about their representatives’ vote for taxpayer funded abortion.
The effort which begins Friday will first target Rep. Baron Hill (IN-9), Rep. Chris Carney (PA-10) and Rep. John Boccieri (OH-16) who had previously voted to block taxpayer funded abortions, and voted against life when they followed Nancy Pelosi’s lead in casting their vote for federal funding of abortion as part of President Obama’s Health Care Reform. To hear the ads, click here.
But the campaign will not stop there. Called “Life Counts,” AUL Action’s campaign will target other politicians who ultimately decided to throw aside pledges to fight taxpayer funded abortion. These three are the first of a dozen or more representatives who will be held accountable for their anti-life votes to follow Pelosi’s directions in casting an infamous vote for taxpayer funded abortion.
“The AUL Action ad campaign targets Representatives who voted for the largest expansion of federal funding of abortion ever, and they will not be able to hide from that vote any longer,” said AUL Action President Dr. Charmaine Yoest.
